Oral H. "Bud" Williams
Oral H. “Bud” Williams Jr., 72, of Eldorado, passed away with his family at his side on April 11, 2017 in Eldorado.
Bud was born in Eldorado on July 3, 1944 to the late Oral H. Sr. and Dora Elizabeth (Farley) Williams. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association and a member of the Eldorado V.F.W. He worked and retired for Peabody Coal Co. He was a pilot and loved to fly and loved the outdoors and hunting. But his main enjoyment was his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are his children: a son, Brad (Keeley) Williams of Eldorado, a daughter: Julie (J.J.) Unthank of Eldorado and a step son Danny Bachtold of Eldorado and a daughter Lisa Williams. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren: Brooke Ande, Skyler Williams, Ashton Unthank, Brennan Unthank Braydon Williams and a step grandson Jacob Gibbs and 4 great grandchildren: Camron Ande, Landon Ande, Easton Cummins and Emersyn Stanley. And 3 brothers: Dannie (Rose) Williams, Larry Williams and Mike (Gina) Wilson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery with military rights. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
